Other than what is provided in your suite's kitchenette, all of the dishes and cutlery are disposable paper plates, paper cups, plastic cutlery, EVERYTHING! Even when ordering food from the restaurant, meals are servied with paper plates. Finally the most heartbreaking aspect of my stay was the sheer amount of trash this hotel generates daily. This definitely fell short of my expectations where I think everyone in hospitality should be consistently friendly. Some were friendly, some definitely were not. 3) The customer service was inconsistent. Their were stains on the walls in our suite which were ignored day after day and I just felt there was a lack of conistency in terms of schedule and level of service. For example the corridors could definitely use a fresh coat of paint and new carpets. drugstore, liquor store) within walking distance. There also a nice handful of restaurants and convenient shops (i.e. Pros - Good location in terms of being easily accessible to the PATH train with direct connections to NYC. This included the standard potatoes, sausage, but it included Asian breakfast bar, yogurt breakfast bar, and great breads and bagels. One day included freshly made breakfast tacos, the next is omelets, and the last day was pancakes with fresh fruit. Also, breakfast is included, and it is one of the best breakfast bars that I have had at a hotel. The hotel room is modern, big, and very clean! Also, the staff is exceptional and helpful. The only problem is that on weekends the train may not be running after 11PM, which may require you to take a longer route to get back to hotel. Even though you're in New Jersey, it doesn't take long to get to city. This hotel is located right by the PATH station, and the train ride on the PATH is just $2.75 a person taking 20 min to get to the WTC station. This is not the case for the Element in Harrison. Either it takes too long via public transportation or you need to use a more expensive option like ferries or taxis. Started looking outside the city, and you may save some money, but transportation may kill you. A quick search found nothing reasonable in Manhattan for 4 people. We decided to take a last minute family trip to NYC.
